End of June.

It's hard to believe June is already almost over.  Soon it is the 4th of July and then the summer seems to end shortly after.  We have kept quite busy so far this summer with all the kids' activities and playing outside.  I haven't snapped nearly enough pictures as usual!  I had a few random ones I wanted to share.
The kids spend a great deal of time checking on their garden.  I am so glad we decided to plant one this year.  So far things seem to be growing as they should!  We can't wait until we can eat those fresh peas and tomatoes!
Another one bites the dust... Landon lost his front tooth!   It has been wiggly for awhile now and Ryan couldn't wait to get his hands in there and yank it out!  This was a hard one for me!  Now begins the awkward toothless stage followed by the awkward big/crooked teeth stage.  Good thing those big browns are not going anywhere!
Ryan, the kids and I went out to the fairgrounds to watch Fargo's first Run or Dye race.  I had contemplated running it but never got around to signing up.
We were pretty excited to see cousin Jack cruise by.
Kadence was pleasantly surprised when we ran into Kendalynn's dad and sister who were waiting for Kendallynn and her mom to finish!  We were able to watch them as well!  Very fun!
Nothing like a little iced hot chocolate to cool off and end June.  I am loving all the time I get to spend with the kids!

Gymnastics.

Kadence completed her first session of gymnastics this week.  She had a blast and learned a lot.  She asked right away if she could keep doing gymnastics for the next session.  It was so fun to watch her bounce around and have fun.
Kadence's friend Kendallynn was in her class and the two of them had a lot of fun together!

Love this shot of the girls!
Kadence with her first gymnastics award!! Keep working hard sweet girl! We are so proud of you!

Cousin Fun.

We were lucky enough to have the Skowlund's come to Fargo for a visit.  The kids had a blast playing with their cousins and the weekend went fast like usual.
We were blessed with nice weather for the most part so we were able to enjoy a lot of time outside.  Ryan and I took all 5 kids for several bike rides.  The bike rides were a big hit-all but the one that got a little long.  Annabelle was a little frustrated with the lengthy bike ride...
Jill and I took the 2 older girls with us to get their nails painted while we had pedicures.  It was some very fun girl time!
We finished up the weekend with some snuggle time and a movie!  Can't wait for the next visit!

My Little Boy.

Landon is very good at playing alone.  There are days he asks to go in his room and play.  I love to sneak in and listen to his imagination run wild. He has been playing with cars, trains, boats, legos since he could grasp them in his hand.  I caught this picture without him knowing I was at the door.  I will treasure this picture of my little boy forever.  I'm sure even more when he is not so little.

Just KK.

Ryan and I had noticed that one of Kadence's pupils was larger then the other at times.  It seemed to be the most noticeable when she was very tired.  I had asked her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner what she thought and although she was not concerned she referred us to an Ophthalmologist.  I consulted with our neighbor who is an optometrist who instructed me to check pictures from when she was a baby and see if it was noticeable.  After doing so, I realized that they had always been slightly different!  Phew.  What a relief.  Of course I took her to the appointment with the Ophthalmologist  who reassured us her eyes were normal.  They dilated her pupils for the exam and the poor thing was sun sensitive (even more then usual) for almost 2 days.  For whatever reason the pupils stay dilated much longer in children.  The poor thing.  She was such a trooper!
She  borrowed big brothers sunglasses for his t-ball game.  Unfortunately, they didn't help much.
After nap we headed over to the Davies Pool for some sunshine, swimming and friends!  Kadence had fun with Kendallynn and Kendra despite not being able to see!

Happy Dad's Day!

I am truly the luckiest lady in the world.  I am so glad this guy picked me.  Happy Father's Day to the best Dad ever.  Ryan is such a great Dad and these three munchkins are beyond blessed to be his!  Thanks for everything you do for our family, I love you!
Happy Father's Day to our great Dad's!  We are so lucky to have them in our lives and our children's lives as well!  Love you guys!

Finally!

I think it is safe to say summer is here, finally!  We have waited a very long time to be able to spend days outside and get in the water! The kids and I visited the new splash pad here in town.  They had fun despite being a little chilly at times.
We found our first toad of the season.  Let's just say it was the highlight of the entire morning and this toad was well loved.  I am pretty sure it was fought over by 6 kids for a good 2 hours.  This girl absolutely loves toads.  So, in her pretty pink flowered skirt while dancing around and holding her new friend she was the happiest little girl in the world!  Love.
This just shows how excited the kids were when I first put the pool out!  They were actually clapping as it was filling-in their pajamas!
Love days at home in the pool enjoying the gorgeous weather!
Landon and Kadence were lucky enough to get new bikes.  They have been enjoying them a ton!
