I am a little behind on my posting but wanted to include last weekends adventures. We went back to the farm for the weekend and visited Ryan's parents. The kids were able to see lots of baby cows and spent a lot of time outside. Landon saw two calves being born and was pretty enthralled with the whole thing. He was pretty quiet and just watched, but was very concerned if the babies were okay. The second one we saw Landon asked me, "Mommy is it dead?" I think this was the question everyone watching was thinking as the calf fell from its momma backwards. We watched intently for what seemed like hours and with much stimulation and licking, the baby picked up its head. It was like Landon knew instantly and he looked over at me with the biggest smile on his face and said, "Mommy its okay, its okay!!!!" It was pretty precious.
It's always a fun relaxing time at the farm! The kids love all of the Grandma and Grandpa time as well as the outside time!
