It is that time of year again! The Fargo marathon weekend! It is a Strasburg family tradition for as many family members as are able to come and participate in running events or cheer on the runners! The Frasher's were unable to come to Fargo at the last minute because Tyler broke his hand and had to have surgery Friday morning. We all sure missed them this year!
The weekend kicked off with the kids race on Thursday evening. We signed all of our kids up for the 1/2 mile race. We decided to sign Kenzie up last minute and really were not sure how she would do with the crowd of people. Ryan ran with her and she did great! Much to my surprise she ran almost the entire way and was running by herself both of the times we saw her! I was so proud of her! She was definitely one of the younger runners who was actually running! Ryan said when she would see us she sped up her pace quite a bit. He also said she was getting lots of smiles from the spectators!
Kadence ran her race with big cousin Jack. She was very excited to run with her cousin and did awesome. She was smiling when we saw her with a little dance to her step and a bouncing ponytail!
Landon decided to run the race by himself this year, "because Mom, I'm 6 now!" He did pretty well staying at the front of the pack. He also started running faster when he saw us and it was adorable to see the determination in his face!

Friday night was the 5k run/walk. Mike, me, Sue, Arin and Jack all participated in the race. Mike and Jack did awesome running it in under 23 minutes, Arin and I beat our last 5k time by over 3 minutes and Sue did awesome even running a little!

Another great Fargo marathon weekend in the books! Thanks to everyone for coming and for all the fun! Thanks to Arin and Holly for taking most of the pictures, too! Can't wait for next year!
