We love spring!

Kadence had to have tubes put in her ears last week!  She did so well!  I had to take pictures of these funny jammies that her 'booda' stuck out of!  She hardly cried at all and is such a good baby!  We hope this solves her ear troubles!
She wasn't so sure of everything but was ok as long as she was being held:)
Later that day, we got out of the house and went to the park.  Both the kids had a blast cruising in the stroller and looking at everything!
Landon thought the waterfall was pretty cool.  He also enjoyed the choo choo, flying (the planes), and the geese.  I think he ran the entire time, he just looooves being outside!
We can't wait to have more days to spend outside!

Happy 1st Birthday Kadence!!

Kadence was lucky enough to have two celebrations to celebrate her first birthday!  The first was here in Sioux Falls with our friends here and most of Ryan's family.  We sure were crowded in our place but it was great to have everyone here!  Kadence was happy for most of her party and loved all the attention!
She wasn't so sure of her the candle or her cupcake...good thing big brother was willing to help!
The second party was at Aunty Jilly's and was for her, cousin AJ (1) and cousin Annabelle (2).  What a nice party with a ton of people!!!  Aunty Jilly worked hard and we were all thankful we were able to celebrate with everyone!  Kadence was pretty tired for the party but Great-grandma June's lap was where she stayed the longest!
Aunty Jilly made little cakes for the three kids to dig into (and Landon and Henry got to join in the fun and split one).  Kadence only went at the cake one finger at a time, Annabelle requested a fork and didn't want to get messy, and AJ demolished his cake...the winner by far!

I can't believe how fast this first year of Kadence's life has gone!  We love her so much!!!

March Madness!

Landon was out practicing riding his bike this weekend!  It was so warm and he had so much fun!  It is a little big for him so he's working on the concept.  He did take his first spill and had a little road rash on his face!  That for sure won't be his last spill!
Then, 2 days later Landon was able to play outside in the snow!  He was such a good helper shoveling snow with dad!  The snow was all melted by the end of the day!  Might be the last snow this year...haha wishful thinking!
Kadence's new trick, climbing on the trampoline!
She hasn't quite figured out how to get down without doing a face plant though!  She has been moving around like crazy!  She pulls herself up on EVERYTHING and walks around furniture too!  Both her and Landon had a fun weekend with Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Ken in town!  They were spoiled with attention of course and Ryan and I even had a night out!  We were all sad to see them go today but know that we will see them in a couple weeks!

Little stair climber!

Kadee's new favorite thing is the stairs!  She is obsessed and is climbing them very quick these days:)  She loves pulling herself up to standing, too!  Still hasn't taken any steps yet, but we are working on it.  Hard to believe she will be 1 year old soon!!  Look at her tubby belly:)

Ready to be healthy!

We have been hanging in there trying to get healthy!  Both the kids have had colds for a few days now and we are awaiting the spring weather to cure all our bugs!  Kadence hasn't been sleeping well which is unusual for her!  Hopefully she doesn't have another ear infection, we are already contemplating tubes!  So we have had a lot of in the house time and our feeling pretty couped up!  The above photo is a new game Daddy and the kids play, he pulls them around on the floor on a blanket...good way to clean the floor too:)  As you all can imagine, Landon would do it all day if we let him!
We have been working on walking with Kadence!  She is doing better every day!  She really likes to push her stroller around with her baby in it!  She is also doing better drinking from a cup but likes to spit it out too as you can see!  She is getting more teeth if you can believe it!!!
Kadence spends a lot of time playing in the toy kitchen, she likes to take everything out!
Landon is still obsessed with his cars and can spend the entire day playing with them.  He also loves his new Nemo shirt from Mexico from Grandma Sue!

We are still staying busy with work and school!  Ryan has been working a lot on his research project!  I am orientating to the Gynecology floor at the hospital and will work there occasionally if I am needed.  I am glad that those moms finally starting having babies, work has been busy!  The next couple months will be busy for us!  We will be making a trip to Cloquet for Jackie's baby shower and a birthday party for the Kadee, Annabelle, and Aj.  I will also have to go back to Fargo at some point to give a deposition for the hospital.  We are also anxiously awaiting Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Ken to come next weekend!  We love having company come to visit us!

Some days are just meant to be jammie days:)

I love days at home with the kids!  If I could, I would stay home with them every day!  Some days (in the winter especially) we just hang all day in our jammies!  I love this first pic of the kids, they are both eating and have the exact same look on their face!  I just love it!
Landon had a blast playing with his sisters new hair things...and he really wanted them in his hair!  Daddy hasn't seen this picture yet, he'd be embarrassed!  Although I do remember seeing several pics of him with dolls, purses, and dresses:)
Kadence (or deedee as Landon says) loves her food!  She usually eats as much as her brother or more at meals!  Although he is more of a snacker than her!  We are working on the sippy cup, she loves her bottle though!  We have a couple months to break her of that thankfully!  And...look at all those teeth!  She has 6 through and is working on a couple more!  We are blessed in that so far she has an easier time teething than her big brother did!
I think this picture speaks for us all!  LET ME OUTSIDE!!  It is that time of year where everyone is just ready for nice weather so we can go outside!  Hopefully it will come sooner rather than later!  We did get a short walk in this afternoon which was good!
