Kids are great!

There is just never a dull moment in our house!  On the days I think I am going to go crazy, the kids turn it around by just acting goofy!  Apparently in our home, Landon's new underwear get much more use on his and his sisters heads than him wearing them!  Kadence doesn't look that thrilled in the below pictures, but had you seen the two of them racing around the house just minutes prior, you would have seen how much fun they were having!
I just can't believe how much enjoyment and love these two little people have brought into our lives!  They are the best and we love them so much!!

Last day of May!

Like father, like son!!  Our neighbor Rachel has started making the cutest tutu's!  Her girls were wearing them and of course Landon wanted to join the fun too!  I guess it's not all that surprising since his daddy used to wear one when he was little, too!  They had so much fun it was great!
This picture is one of my favorites...if we would have told them all to do the same thing they never would have, but they were doing it all on their own...kids are just too fun!  Too bad Kadence was taking a nap or she could have joined in on the fun!
We have enjoyed our pool at home now too.  The weather has been great here, so it has been hard for me to get anything done!  I am not used to all of this nice weather.  I finally figured it out the other day, in Cloquet and Fargo, there weren't as many nice days, so the days that were nice I would be outside as much as possible!  So now we have pretty much been outside every day!  Hard to get a lot done, but the kids are loving it anyways!
Kadence has mastered walking and is getting pretty brave these days.  She decided she wanted to try out the trampoline standing up this time!  Thankfully she never fell, but she sure was proud of herself!
Those big blue eyes are hard to resist...like father like daughter I suppose!  She is growing up so fast, but it sure is fun to see her mind work and watch her figure out new things every day!
I thank God everyday that I am blessed with such a happy, healthy family!  I just wish time didn't go so fast!  I can not believe it will already be June 1st!  A busy but fun summer lies ahead!

Good times in Omaha!

This post is a few days late since I have been having issues uploading the photos!  For whatever reason I was unable to post the pics I had from Arin's camera which is a bummer since those were the good ones!  I will keep working on it, for the mean time I posted a few that we took!  We all went to Omaha this past weekend to visit Aunty Arin and help her with some yard work!  She has been such a tremendous help to us the past few months without daycare, it was our turn to help her out a little!  Kristy, Jessie, and Tyler also came for the weekend and it was awesome to see them too!  It was so warm out I bought the kids a pool and they had a blast with it!  They also had a slip-n-slide set up which kept them all very busy (Ryan especially), it was very entertaining.
Kadence loved playing in the water and was such a trooper even though it was pretty chilly!  She sure thinks she's pretty cool these days now that she can walk around everywhere!!  I just love her new swimsuit from Grandma Debbie!
Landon of course also had a blast with the pool.  But not quite as much fun as chasing Aunty's "titty" around EVERYWHERE!  He loves that cat soooooooo much, and the cat looooves him, too (haha or not).  Landon loved the pond across the street from Aunty's house that was filled with Koi fish.  We even fed them bread one night!  I think he was outside about 98% of the weekend!
On Sunday, we went to the Omaha zoo which was a lot of fun!  All of the kids were so good and enjoyed looking at all of the animals.
We had to get a picture of the real monkey's atop the gorillas...haha!  Kadence was scared of course so she was MIA from this pic.

Landon insisted on being carried through the entire zoo!!  Poor Aunty Kristy was the lucky lady who lugged him around most of the trip!  Such a softy...couldn't say no to those big brown eyes, I guess it runs in the family:)
We had such a nice visit with family!!  I think Ryan surely enjoyed spending time wrestling and talking sports with Tyler!  We also got to swim at the pool at the clubhouse!  The most fun we probably had was the 8.5 mile run Ryan and I went on up hill the whole way (or so it seemed).  We did get lost and it was very hot, not so much fun but hey we survived.
Ryan dove right back into school this week and will be busy this summer semester of course!  I am loving my time with the kids and I think they are loving it also!

Loving this warm weather!

We have had such an awesome time the past couple days outside!  I cannot believe how much warmer it is here!  It has been in the 90's!  We played in the sprinkler on Monday and Tuesday we had a water balloon war (I think Emma lost that one:))  We have actually had to run our air conditioner...It is crazy!  The kids are having a great time playing outside as much as we can!
Kadence was trying out her friend Macy's fun four-wheeler.  She thought she was pretty cool when she figured out how to get it to move on her own!
Then she just figured it would be more fun to push it!
Landon thought the water balloons were so much fun!  He waited patiently for daddy to fill and tie them and then usually chased after me with them!
Summer is so much fun and we just can't wait to have more fun out in the sun!

We did it!

Ryan, Kristy (Ryan's sister) and I all ran the Fargo half marathon on May 9th!  It was a chilly run only 38 degrees at the start but very fun!  It was Ryan and Kristy's first half marathon and they did so awesome!  We had such a great time visiting our old hometown and saw family and many friends that we miss dearly!  We did forget how much chillier it is in Fargo...I don't really miss that!
Landon had a blast playing and following Jack and Jessie EVERYWHERE!
Kadence had a great time too and started taking more steps by herself on Sunday.  Happy Mother's day to me!!
What a great weekend!  My best friend Jackie also had her baby on May 9th the half marathon day for me!  Rocco Donofrio-what a cute little boy!  The kids and I made a trip back to Cloquet to visit Jackie and Rocco.  We had an interesting 6 1/2 hour car ride without daddy!  For whatever reason, they were much better for me on my long trip than they had been for Ryan and I on our shorter trip to Fargo!  Although, I would have loved to see a video of the three of us from the bathroom stall when we stopped...haha!  It was a great visit and I had fun seeing my family as well!  We were lucky enough to spend some time with Grandma June and Grandma Faraway (who is not so faraway these days!!).  We are so blessed to have such wonderful families!!

More Baseball Daddy Please!

Ryan is playing on a softball team with a bunch of his classmates this summer.  Last night the kids and I met up with some of the other ladies to watch.  The weather did not cooperate as it was freezing and rainy!  Landon was so excited when we told him where we were going and did not stop talking about "baseball and Daddy" the whole way there!

He had a blast playing with his friend Emma (who he has a terrible time with her name since he gets confused with puppy Emma, he actually called her Haywe (Hailey) when I asked later who he was playing with).  We left after the first game and once Landon realized Daddy was going to play more baseball and we were leaving...he cried the whole way home (almost 20 minutes mind you).  He was still crying about it at home "watch daddy more baseball daddy more baseball daddy!"  He didn't forget until I bribed him with a glass of chocolate milk and the "puppie movie" (101 Dalmations).

Tonight when Ryan put his bike riding clothes on to go for a bike ride, Landon asked "daddy baseball?"  It was pretty cute... I guess he didn't forget after all.  Daddy's #1 Fan :)
