Skol Vikings, let's win this game,
Skol Vikings, honor your name,
Go get that first down,
Then get a touchdown.
Rock 'em . . . Sock 'em
Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!
Go Vikings, run up the score,
You'll hear us yell for more. . .
V-I-K-I-N-G-S
Skol, Vikings, let's go!
We are well into football season and with Ryan's favorite team 6-0, you can imagine the excitement in our house every Sunday. We have now taught both of the kids to shout (repeatedly) GO VIKINGS! It is actually fun and pretty cute. I had to get a pic of the boys decked out in their Vikings gear. Ryan even bought Emma a Vikings collar this year (I think he's serious.)
If any of you have ever watched a Vikings game with my husband, you would know that it is extremely INTENSE. He is so passionate about the game-and especially the team, that the outcome of the game effects his mood the ENTIRE day. So, football is not my favorite sport, but I have found myself secretly praying and even outwardly cheering for the Vikes to win so that we all have a good day:) I can't blame Ryan entirely, I have heard that it is a genetic thing as his Dad watches games with the same passion.
I think when Landon gets older and him and his Dad are watching the games, Kadence and I will go shopping-EVERY Sunday!
Well, another Sunday come and gone and another Vikings win. Keep it up guys-I like my husband's mood:)
